Fire Company No. 1  members have joined the new Palmerton Municipal Fire Company which is owned by the Borough of Palmerton.

The new company is a firefighting brigade and is run by the Borough Fire Commitee.

All Borough Engines, Trucks and equipment owned by the Borough are  housed in the New Station.
